I think healthy dogs should eat meat, and since bogeys mix is local to me in Ashburn I decided to try their "feast mode" for my shitzu Scout. It smells like a turkey sandwich when I heat it up for him in the microwave too which I can't say for the meal prep we used to feed him.

I tried bogeys mix for my Great Dane Sinbad because they were local and I liked that their recipe was almost all meat and it was fresh. At Bogey's Mix, we source our food from the same depot as your favorite local restaurants. We strive to ensure the same food you eat is the same food your pup eats. We even go the extra mile to ensure your ingredients are ethically sourced. We are on a mission to go above and beyond and source from local farmers in the near future.
Is Bogey's Mix raw?
No, Bogey's Mix is a fresh, lightly cooked diet. Our meats and vegetables are prepared the same way we would cook our own food. Our seeds, oils, herbs, and other ingredients are added raw. We believe a lightly cooked approach offers a balance of nutrition, convenience, and gentleness on sensitive stomachs.
What does it mean to be complete and balanced?
Complete and balanced means that Bogey's Mix meets and exceeds all the nutritional requirements dogs on a complete meal plan need, from macronutrients (protein, fat, and carbohydrates) to micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). Our recipes follow the AAFCO nutritional standards for adult maintenance and are designed to support your dog through every stage of adulthood, all the way to their golden oldies.

We prepare our food with love in Leesburg, Virginia in a commercial kitchen called ChefScape. Our production safety matches the high standards of human food production. Bogey's Mix is produced in-house, which means we control every part of our production process to ensure quality, safety, and nothing but the best ingredients for your dog.
